The EMS Magazine is the journal of record of the European Mathematical Society, featuring survey articles on current research topics, contributions outlining trends in scientific development, reports on member societies and institutes, book reviews, a mathematical problems section, and more.

The Magazine is published quarterly in print (March, June, September, December) and is sent to member societies, mathematical institutes and interested individual members of the EMS. It offers an established platform for companies and institutions to advertise products and services to the broad community of mathematicians, statisticians, computer scientists, engineers, and other mathematically-minded professionals who are regular readers of this popular publication.

Articles in the EMS Magazine are published Open Access with a CC BY 4.0 license and they are indexed in zbMATH Open.

The EMS Magazine was previously published under the name EMS Newsletter (issues 1 to 118, ISSN 1027-488X).
